ABOUT

Hi, I’m Rafael CG, creator of Wednesday Universe. This whole journey started with two things that have inspired me since childhood: the Addams Family and the imaginative, visually striking worlds of Tim Burton. Those influences shaped how I see stories, characters, and creativity to this day.
I still remember the first time I watched the 90s Addams Family movie, with Christina Ricci as Wednesday. Something about it instantly clicked with me. That film introduced me to a universe that was strange, clever, and completely unforgettable—and I’ve been fascinated by it ever since.
Coincidentally, the first movie I ever saw in my life was also a Tim Burton film. His signature style left a deep impression on me. From that moment on, his work became a huge part of how I understand storytelling, mood, and aesthetic.
For the longest time, I actually believed Tim Burton had directed those Addams Family movies. The vibe felt so perfectly in sync with his vision. I used to wonder why his name wasn’t in the credits.
As I got older, my connection to Wednesday only grew stronger. I saw so much of myself in her—her dry humor, her independence, her refusal to blend in. So when I heard that Tim Burton was finally bringing a Wednesday series to life, it felt like two major parts of my world were finally coming together. I knew I had to do something.
That’s when I created Wednesday Brazil—a space to share news, my theories, behind-the-scenes details, and celebrate the arrival of Wednesday on Netflix, with Jenna Ortega stepping into the role. It started as a passion project for Brazilian fans, but it quickly became something more.
As the audience grew and more people from around the world started connecting with the content, I realized it was time to expand. That’s how Wednesday Universe was born—a global platform where fans can explore everything about Wednesday Addams, the Addams Family, and the creative universe surrounding them.
Wednesday Brazil is still very much alive and continues to be a key part of this journey. But Wednesday Universe takes things further, creating a space where fans from all over the world whether they’re longtime followers or just discovering this world, can come together.
This project has been a labor of love from the very beginning. Seeing it grow, building a community, and even catching the attention of people connected to the Addams and Tim Burton worlds has been surreal and one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
